I’m Joel, an experience designer, show writer, and creative director for themed attractions, events, and theatre based in Vancouver, BC. I am known for my authentic, collaborative, and energetic approach to crafting experiences. I hope to get to know you real soon.
I believe in the power of stories. Their power to help us to see each other, empathize with the experiences of others, and to connect with the ones we love. I have had the created work with companies in Canada, The United States, Mexico, and Italy. I have worked with schools, churches, museums, municipal parks, airports, and attractions helping them to create unique and engaging experiences for the people they serve.
I specialize in story development and walk-through, interactive and automated experiences. My work is informed by my background in theatre creation and museum design and integration. I produce my own work through Sea to Sky Immersive, as well as freelance as a writer and creative director.
